GIF FRAME → STATIC PNG

Pick a Twitch emote thumbnail

Choose a frame from your GIF, preview it as a square and download a separate PNG. The animation itself does not change.

Choose a GIF to begin.

Choose a readable still

  1. Upload a GIF you have the right to use.
  2. Move the slider to a pose that reads clearly at the chosen size. Arrow keys also move one frame at a time.
  3. Download the PNG. The image is fitted into a square with transparent padding; it is not stretched.
  4. Check the current Twitch upload screen and applicable requirements. The PNG is separate from your original GIF and does not change its first frame.

Twitch's animated emotes guide describes using a custom static thumbnail. Format checks and a preview do not guarantee platform acceptance.

Need the animation too?

Use the Twitch emote maker for the animated files, or the GIF compressor to work on file size. Inspect a finished image with the file checker.
